About Kimber
The best word to describe me is ‘multivalent’, which means:
“Having many applications, interpretations, meanings and values.”
Trained in therapeutic intervention to work with vulnerable individuals, groups, and communities, I have served as a counsellor, manager, facilitator, leader, instructor, trainer, consultant, coach and mentor in over a dozen countries.
I’ve not only lived an extraordinary life – from vulnerable origins to a career in humanitarian emergencies, to surviving life-threatening illnesses – I’ve continually reflected on the meaning and teased out the learning and growth presented in these experiences.
Crisis as opportunity, I say.
As a result, I possess an enormous toolbox of skills, expertise and knowledge from which to draw, to serve you, your team, organization or community.
I meet you as you are, where you are, in service to others. Together we define your needs - within your organization and/or social, cultural and religious context - and co-create and deliver the workshop, training, or project that meets them.
